TheFuturelsHere Foundation, Inc. is a Non-Profit organization formed to help humanity. We serve the community through sports, culture, youth development, event organization, and camps or clinics. We will operate a center for educational empowerment, sports, social, and cultural development. To use sports as a platform to unify our community, engage our youth, create opportunities through skills and leadership, and provide quality instruction through mentorship training towards the goal to self-sustenance and growth into better leaders in the future

Our Vision: “Bring Back the Village”

My journey began at eight years old, competing against men at a local ping pong table and watching my cousin play basketball from a balcony. That single invitation to join a team practice changed my life, leading me from Nigeria to a 17-year professional career, to the Olympics, and the WNBA.

I’ve learned that success isn’t just about records—it’s about service. As the first Nigerian-born woman in the WNBA and former GM of D’Tigress, my mission is to be the role model I was missing as a child.

We are rebuilding the “village” to ensure every child has:

Mentorship: Guiding youth to realize their full potential as leaders.
Opportunity: Positive engagement through education, sports, and cultural activities.
Safety: Fostering secure communities where families can support their children and enjoy their neighborhoods, just as we once did.
The Village: Raising a child is the parents’ responsibility, plus relatives, church, teachers, mentors, neighbors, etc. “It takes a village to raise a child”.
